Sometimes I get a wedding inquiry that literally makes me get out of my chair and dance around a little bit with excitement, and let me tell you, this was one of them.
When Katherine and Sophie first got in touch and told me what they had planned for their wedding day I knew we were going to be a perfect match. I had been very much looking forward to this day ever since!
These two got ready separately at the Alt Hotel in Ottawa before meeting up for an intimate first look on Victoria Island. Their ceremony and reception were held at Fairouz on Somerset, which is a to die for location! I love, love, LOVE it when couples find an out of the box venue location. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m pretty certain they are the only people who have had their wedding there.
The mix of urban and greenery made for such an awesome set of photos of these two wonderful people!
