Parlour Wedding in Ottawa

There's something about a wedding that doubles as a going away party that feels especially full. Morgan and Chris got married at Parlour in late August, surrounded by the people who love them most, just days before they packed everything up and started a new chapter on the other side of the country.

Morgan, (who is a FISH scientist!) and Chris (Bug to the people who know him best) chose one of my favourite restaurant venues in Ottawa for their celebration. Parlour's atmosphere is unmatched, the food and drinks are incredible, and the energy that comes with a room full of people who are equal parts thrilled that you got married and a little sad that you're moving away is something you just can't manufacture. Heartbreakers brought the pizza and cake and the shots were flowing all day. It was a real, true celebration, and I feel lucky I was there for it.
