Amanda and Mike (aka some of the nicest people you will literally ever meet) were supposed to have a 120 person wedding in May…instead they had the most perfect 20 person wedding in October.
They invited their most important people to their cottage on Golden Lake and celebrated a day of love. Amanda, who’s an amazing artist, did all the decor and florals herself and she could not have done a more amazing job of making this little waterfront property contend with the most expensive wedding venue out there.
The dinner was a delicious informal Indian buffet, followed by speeches and toasts. Sunset portraits were followed by a bonfire and first dance (despite a little speaker malfunction!) and the photography coverage wrapped up just after sunset.
AND let’s not forget everyone’s favourite wedding mascot – Lily the family dog who played the very important roll of cleaning up any and all food messes that presented themselves throughout the day.
I would be one happy wedding photographer if every single wedding I photographed was like this one.
