Embrace The Rain!!!

When you realize you’re going to have a rainy wedding day, you have two options: cry or laugh. Stefania and Jeremy most certainly chose the latter.

That morning, they had to decide whether to stick with their outdoor ceremony or move it under Adelina’s pergola. One of Stef’s friends asked her, “Would you be more upset to get wet, or to be under the pergola if the weather ends up being gorgeous?” And honestly, I think that is such a fantastic way to look at it.

Stef decided to risk the rain, sent people out to buy 70 ponchos, and fully committed to the outdoor ceremony!

Now, most of the time, taking the risk pays off and the rain holds out. This, however, was not one of those times.

It absolutely POURED. Everyone got soaked. And it was perfect.

(This exact thing actually happened at my own wedding, so I fully approve!)

A sunny ceremony would have been beautiful, but this ceremony was beautiful AND memorable. Nobody will ever forget Stef and Jeremy’s ceremony.

They chose joy. They chose laughter. They chose not to care if their shoes got wet or their clothing got dirty. They chose to have fun and embrace the weather they were given, and it truly could not have been better.

I honestly don’t think a clear day would have been better than this exact day. It was perfect, and it just topped the list as my favourite wedding ever.
