San Ignacio, Hopkins, San Pedro & Caye Caulker
Our 2017 trip brought us to Belize, which is a wonderfully easy place to travel. We spent two weeks backpacking around this beautiful country and would highly recommend it to anyone!
We started near the border of Guatamala, just outside San Ignacio in the mountains. From there we bused down to Hopkins, then up to San Pedro (which happened to coincide with Carnival!) and Caye Caulker. Hopkins was definitely the highlight of the trip, if you find yourself in Belize you definitely need to go there.
This was my first trip taking only my Fuji X-T1 which was amazing, so much smaller and lighter than a full DSLR! It’s also a lot less conspicuous – not having your camera stolen while on vacation is always a win!
