Summer Engagement Shoot in Gatineau Park

Nicole and Nathaniel’s engagement session took place on a warm July evening, the kind that feels almost too perfect to be real.

These two were such a joy to work with. They were completely themselves with each other and had the kind of connection that doesn’t need direction. It’s always so wonderful getting to photograph couples who are so clearly in love.

We met at one of my favourite spots in Gatineau Park, a quiet, tucked away location that feels a little like stepping back in time. It has this understated magic to it, and no matter how many times I shoot there it never loses that feeling. I’m always so excited when couples choose this spot, and Nicole and Nathaniel's love made it all that much more beautiful.
