Umbrella Bar Wedding in Ottawa

Julia and Mitchell’s wedding day at Umbrella Bar was the perfect reminder that sometimes the unexpected makes a day even more memorable.

What started as a very rainy April forecast led to a last minute pivot, swapping their original Arboretum plans for a first look and wedding party photos at Skye Studio. And honestly, it couldn’t have been better. Warm, relaxed, and beautifully styled, it was proof that Plan B can be just as stunning as Plan A.

Julia and Mitchell took it all in stride. They were calm, present, and just so excited to be getting married, rain or shine. That energy carried through the entire day, which was fun and relaxed and oh so gorgeous.

And then, of course, the night ended exactly how it should, with a packed dance floor that you never want to leave!
